School Council
Your school Councillors
You can spot our School Councillors around school with their lovely school council badges! They have been elected through a democratic voting process in each class.
School Councillors have meetings about once a month and talk about things that matter to pupils at our school and ways to make Shadwell Primary even better.
Councillors lead class meetings and gather the views of everyone within the class. This may be through discussion or a class vote as the Council want to give everyone a voice. These results are taken back to the School Council meeting so that decisions and plans can be made. The School Councillors also think of great fundraising ideas to bring these ideas to life! Recently School Council enabled the purchase of new playground equipment boxes for each class.
All our members are very proud to be part of School Council!
