Outdoor Day

What a fabulous day Class Three have had! We developed our understanding of chronologically, ordering their learning on a timeline. We used chalk to create our own cave paintings and then created Stone Age shelters using natural materials.

To the moon

Today Class One launched our new history topic by blasting off to the moon. The children will be learning about Neil Armstrong and the first moon landing. After blast off they practised their moonwalking before sampling some real astronaut food.

Black History Month

Class Three have been discussing the importance of Black History Month. They created a fact file on Mary Seacole, an influential and significant figure from the past. Class 3 had also looked at Mary Seacole in detail in Class 2, it was amazing to see how much they could remember.
