Collage
This week, we practised our collage techniques to create backgrounds for landscapes inspired by the work of Megan Coyle and Eileen Downes. We discussed how we could re-create their techniques using magazines, tissue paper and coloured pieces of card. Well done Class 3!

Leeds map work
In Geography, we have been learning all about the United Kingdom. This week, we looked at Leeds and its surrounding area. Using a variety of maps we located important features and enjoyed spotting lots of familiar locations.

Friction Investigation

Place Value Robots
Class 3 started their place value work in maths by using Base 10 to create their very own robots. We counted the number of hundreds, tens and ones in each robots and wrote these as 3-digit numbers. Excellent maths work Class 3!

Welcome to Class Three!
