No Pens Day
Class 2 have enjoyed 'No Pens Day Wednesday', first we explored multiplication by making arrays using a variety of objects. Then, during English we constructed sentences about Mary Anning. We focussed on re-reading each sentence aloud to ensure it made sense and there were some fantastic discussions between the children. Using different sentence openers and a variety of conjunctions we were able to extend our sentences to improve them.
In our Topic lesson, we travelled back in time to 1605 where we used role play to become members of the group who took part in the Gunpowder Plot.
