Into space in the Wonderdome

Class One journeyed into space when the Wonderdome visited Shadwell today.  We explored the moon (and saw Neil Armstrong's footprints!), travelled through the solar system and then explored the constellations, joining the stars together to see the shapes that they made.  We found out that stars are either yellow, orange, blue or white and that our sun is really quite a small star.  The children loved sitting in the huge, dark dome watching the stars moving overhead.  They all listened really attentively to the presentation, asked lots of interesting questions and shared lots of their own knowledge with our presenter.  Well done Class One - we were really impressed with your knowledge and curiosity.
