Algorithms are fun
In Computing Class One have been learning about algorithms. To begin the lesson they had to give verbal step by step instructions to Mrs Barrett so she could make a jam sandwich. Everyone thought it was hilarious when "put the jam on the bread" resulted in a jar of jam sitting on a slice of bread! The children soon learnt to give very precise instructions and we made a delicious sandwich. Afterwards, they used the Ipads to take photos of each stage of a simple lego model. Learning how to give precise instructions in this way will lead on to some Espresso coding next term.
