Class One blasted off to space today to launch our new history topic about Neil Armstrong and the first moon landing.  When they arrived on the moon, the children went for a quick moonwalk before sampling some real astronaut food - neapolitan ice cream sandwich!  The young astronauts then made the journey back to Earth.  Class One are now all looking forward to learning more about the Apollo 11 mission and its famous commander over the rest of the half term.
