Clay Lamp Designs
Class 2 have been using play dough to explore different ways to mould clay into lamps. They have been inspired by Florence Nightingale and her lamp she used to check the wards on a night and wanted to make their own. After exploring the pinch pot and coil pot the children found out how tricky it was to add detail and design. Following this, they sketched their final designs for their clay lamps in their art books. They have some super ideas!
