Shadwell Superstar!

I would just like to take this time to share with you a really heart-warming story that was brought to my attention last week.

Olivia in Class Four, has been busy working from home completing her weekly work packs - particularly enjoying her French and time on Duolingo. However, what many don't know about Olivia is, she is not the biggest fan of having spare time on her hands. She can watch a film but will be doing something else at the same time. During the Covid-19 pandemic, Olivia had been putting notes around Shadwell to help animals. As she wasn't getting many requests, Olivia took it upon herself to use her own pocket money and create small packs for the homeless charity 'Homeless Street Angels'. She has bought the items to go together and then drawn a personal message with words of motivation and kindness in (as shown in this picture). Children remind us how resilient they are and are a constant ray of sunshine however, Olivia has reminded us that good and kind people are all around us and we should continue to look out for one another. Her empathetic attitude towards strangers is amazing and we are so proud of her at school.
