Home Learning - Week 2

As we wind down from another week of 'learning from home' and get ready to begin the Easter break, I just wanted to take this time to reflect on all the continuous hard work Class 4 have been doing.

We sometimes forget, in this whirlwind around us, that these little heroes are still trying to understand what is going on and they will still be feeling a range of emotions whilst having to stay inside and do as expected - Class 4, you are amazing for all you've done and will continue to do, keep it up!

I have thoroughly enjoyed receiving emails from you and your parents with pictures of what you have done or messages about the adventures you've embarked on at home.

Attached are photos from:

Owen - has shown his continuous hard work with completing the maths and English pieces given to him.

Oscar - has managed to ensure he gets his daily sports fix by working out with Joe Wicks from the comfort of his living room.

Jackson - whizzed through his work, sending examples of his Anglo-Saxons learning, the water-cycle and a creative picture to go with his persuasive speech.

Lydia - has become a little scientist recently, immersing herself in all things 'States of Matter'. Looking at particles and atoms, finding objects, using heating and cooling to make crispy buns and revisit the water cycle!

James - has become Mr Organised, with a special file for all his work (and Pokemon art pictures!) and has shown us he is still a Mathmagician even from home.

Kaya - continuing to learn in all she does, helped put a football goal together and called it her SITE project! She has also been happy to learn and written a great persuasive speech.

Georgia - sent her descriptive writing in and I am sure you will agree, we are all gripped!

Molly - has excelled in her creative abilities, through making slime and drawing art work with chalk for the people of Shadwell - occasionally she likes to walk through the village too and explore - social distancing applied!

Maya - took a break from creating rainbow window displays to write a fantastic, informative speech about staying indoors and offering ways you can keep yourself occupied.

I am sure you will agree, this has been a great week of learning lots of new things; academically and about one another. Just when I think I couldn't be a prouder teacher, Class 4 bring it again. Enjoy the Easter break, keep safe and look after one another.
