What an amazing first day! It was so nice to welcome Class Three back to school and to KS2 today. They were all just as brilliant as I remembered them being before the holidays, which made my first day at Shadwell an absolute blast! 

All the children had the opportunity to share what they had been up to during the summer; it goes without saying that I was very jealous! 

Throughout the day, the children learnt what it means to be in Year 3 and the expectations that are expected in KS2 - I think they will have no problems making this transition! The children have settled excellently and I am sure their great behaviour will continue.

Coming up, we will be learning about where we fit into the world, as well as creating magnetic toys for the children in Class R to learn about the United Kingdom.

I am very much looking forward to teaching this class for the year!
