A few things we've been doing...

We've been exceptionally busy here in Year 6 since completing our SATs. Linked to our end of year production 'Poppins', we have been looking at the Suffragette movement and some of its leading figures. We have planted some pots for the Shadwell Flower Show based on the Suffragette colours and will be writing poetry to go with these. We also helped Mrs Kennett tidy up the allotment.

We have been solving lots of maths problems and a particular favourite was working out the capacity of the outdoor area for Mr Rugg to hold a concert with his old band 'Jack Afro'! We've been taking part in lots of sports tournaments and even had some golf lessons! We enjoyed visiting the health fair as part of 'Health Week' and also enjoyed showing our work to our parents at the French progress cafe. Please check out the school twitter feed for photos of what we have been doing.
