Class One go to the Post Office

Image of Class One go to the Post Office

Following on from all the work we have been doing on the Jolly Postman, today Class One enjoyed a trip to the Shadwell Post Office.  The children were able to ask lots of questions about what happens to the post after it has been put in the postbox and what else happens at the Post Office. Thank you to John for being so patient and helpful and answering all our questions.

We also bought stamps and posted our letters to the Queen. John told the children their letters would be delivered to Buckingham Palace tomorrow morning.

We enjoyed a lovely walk there and back in the autumn sunshine accompanied by all our parent helpers, to whom we would also like to say a big thank you.

Now we just need to wait for a reply from the Palace.
