No pens day!

During our celebration of speaking and listening for the nationally celebrated 'No Pens Day', we did some super investigations in Maths. We found out the approximate lengths of the Megalodon and the Hatzegopteryx and used metre sticks to recreate them on the playground using chalk. We were astounded at their sizes!

The children also investigated how many of our footprints would fit inside the footprint of a Triceratops. Their speaking and listening skills were excellent and they had so much fun.

We had a lovely end to the day...we harvested some beautiful apples and huge Swiss chard leaves from our allotment. Well done Class 2!
