Art Attack!
We had a brilliant Art session on Friday focusing on complementary and harmonious colours, and mixing different shades and tones like the artist Paul Klee. This is in preparation for designing our own class logo representing brand 'Class 6', linking to our topic about the Global Economy and how brands represent themselves around the world. You can see the children's excellent paint mixing efforts below.
We have been doing some wonderful writing to accompany our 'All About Me' collages, and in maths we have been looking at place value and rounding numbers. The children even got to play card games to help with this. You might also spot them burrowed into their new 'Reading Challenge' books which they were very excited to receive.
Another busy week I'm sure you'll agree!
