We have been looking at the difference between fiction books and non-fiction books. The children have been using non-fiction books to find out information about Sir Francis Drake and other explorers. They have been learning about the different features of non-fiction books, such as a contents page, glossary, index, subheadings, diagrams, bullet points and lots more. We are going to be writing our own information fact book about Sir Francis Drake using everything we have learned this half term about non-fiction.
