The children have been using ten frames and counters to solve addition and subtraction problems. They have been learning how to bridge ten and understanding the relationship between different numbers and applying this to higher numbers. We used all the equipment including numicon, number rods, counters and ten strings to make repeating patterns. We have also been learning about 2D and 3D shapes and their properties.
