Happy Australia Day!
G'day folks! Happy Australia Day!
Today we celebrated Australia Day in class 2. The children are really enjoyig their topic on Australia and had lots of fun on this special day. We were so lucky to receive special video messages from some friends of families of children in the class. We learnt all about Australia Day traditions and even made some delicious Lamingtons, cakes which Aussies often eat during the celebrations!
We got out lots of musical instruments and created our own rendition of the famous Aussie song, 'Waltzing Matilda'!
