Class Three have enjoyed learning about Living Things and their Habitats this half term. Today, we have created our own life cycle of a butterfly using our scientific knowledge.

Exploring the local area
Class Three had a fabulous afternoon yesterday exploring our local area. We carried out a survey to record the amount of businesses. We then recorded the amount of people and vehicles that passed within ten minutes.

SITE Exit Day
Class Three had a fabulous time building their Stone Age shelters using natural resources. Although it was rather wet and windy, the children were extremely enthusiastic and worked incredibly well as a team.

Stone Age to Bronze Age Learning Log
Class Three showcased their fabulous efforts and understanding in their learning log this half term. The creativity and hard work that they have all put in to present their learning/ research on the Stone Age to Bronze Age is excellent.

Inverted Commas
Today, Class Three worked really hard to accurately use inverted commas to punctuate direct speech. Their starter task was to rearrange the jumbled up words and punctuation to ensure that it was correct - there was lots of great discussion involved.

A Class Three Musical Superstar
This musical superstar from Class 3 performed a lovely piece of music on the keyboard this morning. I was particularly impressed with her confidence in performing to the whole class as well as her ability to play with both hands.

Anti-Bullying Week
Class Three celebrated the start of Anti-Bullying Week with lots of funky, odd socks. Throughout the rest of the week, we completed lots of different activities to help us understand what bullying is, how we can stop it and why it is important to celebrate our differences.
