Happy News
Class 5 have had a wonderful start to the new academic year. They have impressed Miss Cammiss and Mrs Senior with their positive attitudes towards school and learning. We spent the first few days settling in to our new routine and starting Year 5 on a positive note: by looking at some Happy News.
We learnt all about Emily Coxhead and how she endeavoured not to ignore important news stories around the world, but instead, she set out to balance the equilibrium between positive and negative news stories. We shared Happy News in our local area as well as searching further afield for worldwide Happy News.
The children made their own reports and shared them proudly with each other.
We know that with such a positive attitude, Class 5 can achieve anything they set out to this year! Well done to everyone for such a fantastic start.
