This half term, Year 5 have worked tirelessly on their speaking and listening skills whilst also learning about a very important matter: deforestation.
Today, we debated the motion, "Deforestation should be banned," and we had such a great time!
The children enjoyed the opportunity to share their arguments, whilst using expression and emphasis and ensuring to maintain eye contact and speak clearly and audibly... all whilst remembering what they wanted to say using only their cue cards! We were more than impressed - we were completely blown away! Look at our happy teams below!
