Outdoor Fun
Today, we put our mapping skills to the test by going on a scavenger hunt around the school grounds.
Once children had found each object, they had to then plot it on their map of the school as accurately as they could. Back in the classroom, we then wrote down the co-ordinates of each point we had plotted. Some of us used 4-figure grid references, but others used 6-figure grid references for a bit of a challenge!
Class 5 love outdoor lessons, and the sunshine made it even more fun!
