Oobleck

This half term, we have been learning about materials and their properties.

As a reward for their excellent behaviour and consistent hard work, we experimented with oobleck. Oobleck is a non-newtonian liquid which doesn't follow the laws of typical solids, liquids and gases. It changes its state dependent on pressure. Not only was it interesting to see how oobleck can change states so quickly... it was also a lot of fun to play with!

Miss Cammiss is incredibly glad we decided to do this outside - it was rather messy, but worth it for all the smiles and laughs we had!
