Another Great Week

Image of Another Great Week

We have had a superb week in Class 5 this week. One of our favourite lessons this week was our computing lesson, which we did without any computers or iPads!! We learnt about algorithms and then tried following an algorithm to create a miniature dance/movement routine. The children showed some great team work skills, resilience and patience too! The videos for these don't want to upload to the website unfortunately, but I will keep playing around and see what I can do. In the meantime, I think we will all be chanting up, up, diagonal, up, diagonal for weeks!

We marked anti-bullying week with a few different activities and a lot of class discussions. Class 5 are so empathetic and understanding and I am so proud of them for standing up to bullying together.

We finished our week with a virtual music lesson from Mrs Crowley, where we learnt about body percussion and tongue twisters. The children built their confidence practising as a whole group and then some children were put 'in the spotlight' and performed the tongue twisters in smaller groups.

I am so proud of all that the children have achieved this week. We just keep having an amazing week, followed by another amazing week!! Keep up the hard work Class 5.
