Autumn Explorer Day
Reception had a fantastic day exploring the grounds for signs of Autumn. They drew pictures of the huge Oak tree and searched for acorns. Then they went to see the apple trees and picked some apples before placing them into size order. After a lovely break watching Goldilocks and the Three Bears, the children then went pond dipping, fed the birds and helped to make a bug hotel. .
After lunch they made patterns using natural materials like Andy Goldsworthy. Planted garlic to grow in our allotment and lastly went into our small woods looking for mini beasts and made a leaf crown.
A super day.
