Robotics at Allerton Grange

Allerton Grange have kindly offered to host our Year 5 class for the next 4 weeks, where we will attend both robotics and Spanish classes.

The children really enjoyed their first robotics session, where they impressed the teacher with their knowledge of algorithms and debugging, which they have learnt about in their computing lessons at Shadwell. Attending robotics means that the children can put their coding knowledge in to action and apply it to a real life robot! This week, the children learnt how to programme a robot to move, turn, use sensors to avoid obstacles and produce sound.

Class 5 represented our school wonderfully and we are so proud that teachers from other schools can recognise their strengths too.
