Space Buggys
Today we made our space buggies using all the information we have learnt about the planets in our solar system. The children chose a planet to design a space buggy for and created a design which had a practical specification. For example some children's space buggies designed for Mars included plans for the buggies' protection due to dust storms and large wheels for the hilly surface. I was particularly impressed with their ability to explain the features of their buggy verbally - their ideas were endless and they were able to explain every choice in great detail.
