Class 4 MVUF Trip!

Class 4 had an excellent school trip to Meanwood Valley Urban Farm. The sun didn't stop shining for us and we spent the full day outside. Once we were here, the children were able to showcase all their knowledge about living things and their habitats (SITE topic) and even the trip leaders were impressed by their "brilliant knowledge and excellent behaviour".

As the day went on, the children explored the environment looking for mini beasts (even using equipment to suck up the insects for a closer look!) building the perfect habitats to keep the wildlife safe and then pond dipping. With the little time left over, the children even constructed a food web and explored what happened when one thing was taken out of the equation and the knock on effect this would have on the other factors involved.

The children represented the school fantastically, their behaviour and manners were impeccable and this was commented on. Well done Class 4, you are all super stars!

Many thanks to Mrs Young and Mrs Wallis for your support on the trip and getting involved in everything.
