Poppy Art in Class 3
On Friday children learnt about the importance of Armistice Day and shared ideas about remembrance. Children read the poem, In Flanders Field, and discussed how the image of the poppy is used widely to remember sacrifices made by others. Children used glue and pastel to create art work which supported their own poppy poems.
