Gardening

We thoroughly enjoyed our afternoon gardening with Mrs Kennett last week. We have planted some lettuce and can't wait to see them grow over the next 4-6 weeks. Due to the surprisingly sunny weather, we have some watering monitors who are ensuring our lettuce get watered every day!

Whilst gardening we also explored the wildlife trail, lifting logs to search for any signs of life and looking at the apple blossom. Some children managed to spot some centipedes and even some eggs from possibly a snail or a beetle! Of course, we left everything exactly how we found it and ensured any wildlife we had disturbed was safely returned to its original place! We all took turns weeding, raking, sowing and planting the seeds before listening to our instructions for the next 4-6 weeks.

Thank you Mrs Kennett!
