WOW! What an amazing day we had! As part of World Book Day 2018, the children participated in a day of developing their reading inference skills; using clues to find out which suspect (members of staff) had stolen the first edition Harry Potter book, worth £40,000! Every child made such an effort and with so many Sherlock Holmes' under one roof, they were sure to find the real criminal...PC Pelc! Such a great way to encourage children to read and build upon the skills they already have. Thank you to everyone for the effort they put in and Miss Pickard for organising it!
