Beowulf Drama
Year 4 have started their new history topic of Anglo-Saxons. This week we have been immersing ourselves in the text of Beowulf. We've looked at the language used, the structure and retelling the story. We had a great afternoon doing drama as our English lesson, where we worked in groups to reinact the different scenes. Class 4 explored using their voices and expression to show which character they were and levelling to show their status. The children have worked so hard with this already and we look forward to continue looking at different texts and writing our own narrative story!
