Shadwell Recycling Centre!

Royal Mail

The children were so excited to receive a reply to their letters to the Queen this afternoon.  They were thrilled that their efforts were rewarded with a real letter from Windsor Castle and are now keen to do more writing. Well done everyone!

To the moon

Today Class One launched our new history topic by blasting off to the moon. The children will be learning about Neil Armstrong and the first moon landing. After blast off they practised their moonwalking before sampling some real astronaut food.

UK Day fun

The children had lots of fun today learning about the four countries of the UK. They produced their own factfiles, did some Irish dancing, decorated buns with the flag of their nation and sampled some lovely toasted treats from the different countries. They all looked fabulous in their red white…

Some royal writing
