Moving Parts!
To finish off our science topic of animals including humans the children designed and made moving parts models of a human. Their models had to include some of the information they had learned over the past few weeks, together with a range of moving parts. The class used previous DT learning about pivots and wheels and constructed a variety of moving parts. We had moving limbs, open and closed eyes, revolving tummies showing what had been eaten and flaps revealing hearts and brains. It was great to see their learning in action!
