Farming Fun in Class R
This half term we have been learning about animals and farms. The children have made butter from cream - and enjoyed spreading and eating it! They also made bread and found out where flour comes from by reading The Little Red Hen. In the classroom a farm shop has appeared, with products priced and labelled by the children. They have enjoyed writing shopping lists and exploring money during their role play, as well as counting eggs as they collected them from our homemade chicken coop.
