WOW! What an adventurous yet tiring day. We got the coach in the morning to the farm and spent the full day there learning about habitats and minibeasts to help with our science topic. Robert and Mick planned some great activities for us; a minibeast hunt (it was like an episode of I'm a Celebrity get me out of here, sucking up insects through a tube!), building new habitats for the creatures and pond-dipping! The children had such a great and informative time and after spending the day out in the snow, so did the teachers! We can't wait to put the pictures in our books and do some work on all we have learned. Huge thank you to Mrs Georgallis and Mrs Mackie for being fabulous group leaders and helping out!
